China Olympics: The Opening Ceremony. I Wasn't Gonna Do It.
I wasn't going to do it, I swear. I had told myself not to say anything about the Olympics, figuring all those who are interested could watch it themselves, but Brendan O'Kane's post on it is just too damn funny and snarky (I am using that word for the first time on here just to seem hip) to pass up. I recommend you read it.

China Olympics: The Opening Ceremony. I Wasn't Gonna Do It.:

Comments
Actually, I followed your recommendation and read Brendan O’Kane's commentary. All I learned is that Brendan O’Kane seems to be ignorant, anti-Chinese racist. Seriously, what is the guy doing in China if his idea of humor consists of thinly disguised vile, misanthropic epithets one after the other? If this is the new cool bandwagon, China-bashing, I'm not sure why anyone would want to be on it.

It could be a perfect opening ceremony, but it was ruined. Now we can't comment on this issue in Chinese online.
