Thank You China Law Blog Readers

Posted by Dan on August 2, 2007 at 08:27 PM

The results are in and China Law Blog has won the Chinalyst Best Blog Award in the Business/Law category. A big thanks to all who voted for us and to Chinalyst for putting on the competition. I am honored by your support. Chinalyst's competition did a great job highlighting the depth and strength of the Chinese blogosphere and as soon as I get the time, I plan to check out countless interesting looking China blogs of which I was previously unfamiliar.

Thanks again.

Congratulations!

Congrats Dan and well deserved. Needless to say Sinocidal was plugging you as well so hope we helped a little.

Congrats again - now change your nominee photo to winner :-)

Urule. Keep it up. Expectations are higher now as you're an "award-winning blog", so you'll need to scramble that much harder.

So stop reading your accolades and get cracking!

David Guo --

Thank you.

PiPi --

Thank you and congrats right back at you. Well deserved on your part also.

Of course, I remained above the fray. Actually, I chose only to bother those who could not or would not retaliate, like my mother and my employees. I will try to shift the photo shortly.

Mr. Imagethief --

I can assure you and all the other little people out there that I would never even consider sitting on my laurels.

Congrats Dan!

You shall -at least- invite all CLB voters for a deserve drink!

Gong xi, gong xi, gentlemen!

You the man. Congrats!

As far as I am concerned
ChinaLawBlog = Law Bias
ChinaBriefingBlog = Tax Bias
which is a very good reason as legal counsel I read both. Congratulations to the pair of them, we are somewhat fortunate they entertain us. Keep up the good work - both of you

Todd Platek --

Thank you.

Dan Hull,

Thanks Dude. We have determined that your blog's calling out the votes for us is what made the difference.

Chris D-E --

Chris is exactly right. Both he and Andy sent me a congratulatory e-mail right after the competition ended and both of them were very quick to offer assistance when our site was blocked. Our sites are different and complementary and I am glad they (and countless others) are out there. No blog or site comes even close to covering China and it is the combination of blogs/sites that gives us strength. There is a reason my blogroll is so long and it is because there are many many blogs out there with original, interesting and informative content. We all have our niche and we all have our differing points of view and that is how it should be.

John Morley --

Thank you. Nicely put.

Hey, congratulations. It's definitely well deserved.

Mr. Fly --

Thank you. Much appreciated.

While I wish I had as a good of an excuse as Chris, I was just taking the weekend off.

Congrats to both Dan and Chris on their efforts.

This award is but one validation of the efforts it takes to write a blog on a daily basis.

Congrats Dan,

Your blog is a great read on both a personal and professional level.

Cheers, Boyce

Congratulations! Well deserved.

Congrats, Dan! Keep up the good work and blogging.

Even I read this blog, it is so damn good...
