A China Picture Worth A Thousand Words

Brendan O'Kane is widely regarded as one of the brightest and best writers in the China blogosphere and I regularly check out his posts for their bon mots. Today, however, Brendan's post consists of a picture about which all I can do is repeat the by now trite phrase that a picture is worth a thousand words and urge you to go see it here.

Surprised at how there wasn't much talk in the blogosphere about what yesterday was, but I guess the earthquake really dulled everyone from bringing it up. Its especially obvious when you see the low numbers of people that came out in HK this year...

Is there an America Picture for Kent State? Or Korean Picture for Kwangju, which implicated the Americans?

:-)

Pffefer,

Of course there is. Difference being both Kent State and Kuangju have erected memorials to those events, and open discussion about these events is common and protected by law.
