All Roads (and Maps) Lead to China

Posted by Dan on July 25, 2006 at 07:09 PM

All Roads Lead to China is a relatively new blog that, like China Law Blog, just began posting this year.  It is written by three of the principals at China Strategic Development Partners LLC, a China consulting firm.  They post only one or two times per week, but their posts are original and often discuss topics beyond the "news of the day."  In some cases, they even provide their own research.

Yesterday was a great example of exactly this type of post.  They wrote about foreign penetration of China's retail market included a link to this interesting map showing where eight large foreign retailers (Century 21, GM dealerships, Wal-Mart, Haagen-Das, B&Q, HSBC, Starbucks, and Gucci) are siting their retail operations in China.

thanks for the plug.

We are actually a couple months into this, and just trying to get all the content in place.

We have been a 1-2 a week, but that will change as we have just put into place the infrastrucutre necessary for weekly regulatory and maps in addition to white papers..

Thanks again to China Law Blog for their posts and providing another great source for on the ground information.

Any time. Always good to see interesting and original China analysis out there in the blogosphere.
